Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 in Columbus Ohio U.S.) is considered to be one of the top athletes in sports. The 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games and was also the first gymnast to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was raised in Spring Texas in the Houston metro area, where her and her sister Adria received adoption by parents Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was interested in gymnastics at age six in a day-care field excursion to Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years, under the guidance of her instructor Aimee Boorman. Biles was awarded the gold and bronze medals in the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in vault and floor exercise before making her debut in 2011 with the elite section of gymnastics competition. Less than two years later she was the most dominant athlete in the field. What set Biles out was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the high degree of difficulty she incorporated into her routines throughout every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
